We were always happy spending time and giggling about silly stuff, she will always be remembered as a brightness in our lives. We are sorry we could not be there for your family in this trying time. Our little town has been very fortunate to have such a caring person. I have been fortunate to have lived across the street from her, in fact, wore a path up the hill so I could play with her girls! Dear Joanne, Betty, Gail, & Teresa, I wish to send my deepest condolences to you and your families. I made an audible gasp when I saw your mother's obituary. I was but a little boy in elementary school when I met your mother. I was just another face among the sea of children she saw every day on her bus routes. However, no matter how many children she saw every day, she made each of us feel special and like knew everything about each of us. She remembered minor facts about each of us and would ask about it the next time she saw us. She was everyone's grandmother. As I grew, Anne remembered me and I always got excited when I saw her. A loving memory of my childhood remembering me as an adult. She was an amazing lady who meant so much to me and our community. I hope that during this hard time these stories of Anne's gratefulness and love bring you all peace and smiles. We were lucky and I am thankful that you shared her with me all these years.
